OUR MISTAKES

Assalamualaikum Miss Hasnaa,

There were a lot things occurred through this week.

I felt very tired facing a lot of problems everyday.

The most valuable thing that I learned in this week was 'be civilised'.

The activity that you carried out was very exciting and enjoyable.

However, first of all I would like to apologise you for our terrible behaviour in our last class.

Maybe, all of us never realise that we were in the university and not longer in the primary or secondary school.

Thank you very much Miss Hasnaa for your advices. We really appreciated it.

I am sure that as the time passed, we will become more mature in facing the real world especially when we all go abroad.

Actually, we get too excited to defend each group until we never realise about any value taught.

It was true that the rule of rising hand to oppress any ideas or objections should be practice since young. That was the problem faced by our Malay's students including me in Malaysia.

Everyone wanted to talk at the same time and nobody could not listen too. It was quite insulting for each other. However, when the opportunity was given, nobody would rise their hands except for the brave ones. I really beg your pardon. We really need to start this good attitude in the class.

Although the activity looked simple, but it was really benefit us. We learned new words associated with the word 'pain'.

Besides that, we also learned to get close with our classmates. We learned to cooperate and help each other. It was quite interesting when six brains combined together to come up as many words as possible in a short time.

I hope you can carry out this activity more often. We were really enjoyed it. 'Play while Learning' was a good theme. Thanks for the chips too. It tasted good.

Atiqah's Birthday Party

Assalamualaikum Miss Hasnaa,
For this week, I would like to write about Atiqah's birthday party.
Actually it was a surprise party that held yesterday night.
All of us gathered at the Starbuck in the Cemara College.
I never thought that she would bring a cake.
It was a blueberry cheese cake from Secret Recipe.
It was really delicious.
She said that her father came to see her and buy the cake.
I quite shocked as I thought that her father came from Negeri Sembilan just to wish her birthday.
She said that her father worked at Shah Alam and just dropped by to wish her.
That made sense.
Firstly, we sang a birthday song to her.
Then, we ate the cake together.
It was really a wonderful to be there.
We even took few pictures after having the cakes.
Suddenly, Qarafi offered to treat us at the Rafi Bistro Restaurant.
We were so happy to hear it.
Actually before this I had bad impression at him but as time passed, he was not as bad as I thought, just a little bit naughty
Unfortunately, it was almost 11 pm, so we decided to postponed it.
Next week, we will celebrate Wawa's Birthday.
I cannot wait to celebrate it.

A BAD DAY

Assalamualaikum Miss Hasnaa,

I sure right here you were enjoying the beautiful scenery of Australia. Oh.... I really wish to be there too. Miss, do not forget to buy something for us here. Just kidding la.........But it should be great if you bought something for us:) Actually for this week, I just want to share about my bad experience on last Friday.

I had a fever on last Friday. It was my first fever here. Unfortunately, I did not bring any medicine to ease my fever. There was another problem occurred on that day. A few of classmates and I had misunderstood with the schedule of the Arabic Class. We thought that there will be no class on that day, but finally my best classmate Fatiah called me and told that the class was on. It was already 8.30 am when Fatiah called me. I was really shocked as I did not prepare anything for the class. Moreover, I was not feeling well on that day.

With all the energy I had, I went to INTEC. My head still feel heavy and dizzy. Sometime I just like to faint. I ran to the class. Dr Naimah was already in the class. I felt very guilty to her. I was in dilemma either I should enter the class or wait for the class to finish and I just enter for the following class. However, I decided to enter the class. I gathered all my strength and courage to face the consequences although I knew that it was not my mistake but the uneasy feeling was overwhelming me.

Dr Naimah asked me to sit down and take breathe. Then, she started to ask me. I told her that I did not know about the class. She was quite shocked with my answer. Fortunately, there was a few of my classmates just entered the class that made her believe with my excuse.

In the evening, I went to the clinic. It quite funny to have a small talk in a real situation. I still remembered the role-play that we carried out in the class. Actually it was a good exposure for the premedical student like us.

MY CLASS MEG 3

Assalamualaikum Miss Hasnaa,

How are you? I would like to share about my class for this week. Frankly I felt very grateful to be put in this class. I love all my classmates. Everybody in the class have their own characters including me. This make our class more cheerful and meaningful. I never felt like this in my previous school. All of the guys are very sporting especially Qarafi. He always makes us laugh with all his actions and attitudes. Actually we never fight each other as what you are thought. There was just a little misunderstanding.

I just want to say that I really enjoy your class. The way you approach us, give us motivation and strength are enough to build a strong bond among us. It is very interesting to learn the subject. For the first time, I thought this English class will be bored as it is all about the communication. However after a few sessions, I felt very excited to enter the class. Communication skill is one of the most important value that all the doctor must have. The way to approach, to treat and to motivate patients are not such an easy task.

Actually I never thought to be in this medical field. I prefer to be a lecturer but God know what is the best for me. I accept the faith to be a doctor although I had to sacrifice a lot of things. Furthermore, it is my parents' wish to see one of their children to be a doctor and I was the one took the responsibility. InsyaAllah, I will be mentally, physically and emotionally prepared to face all the circumstances that come across my path. WE PRAY FOR THE BEST AND LET ALLAH DECIDE IT. Next 7 years, Dr Siti Nurbani will come back to Malaysia and contribute her service for the future generation.

NEW ENVIRONMENT

Assalamualaikum, Miss Hasnaa

I would like to share my new life here in INTEC. Actually I was very excited to continue my studies back after about five months doing nothing at home. I did apply for driving licences for car and motocycle. I also worked as a crew in the McDonald's Restaurant for about four months but my life was still meaningless without the title as a 'student'. ha...ha...ha... I really love my life here compared to my previous school with all the rigid rules I had to hold. It was just like a bird being kept in the cage. Aargh... I really hate it. Fortunately, I was not the head girl. ha...ha...ha...

Live in the university was totally difference as in the school. One of the obvious thing I could see was the teaching style. There would be no spoon- feeding anymore for us especially for a boarding student like me.hu...hu...hu... The student had to work harder to grab the knowledge without totally depend on the lecturer. Moreover, the marks allocated for the students were not 100 percent depend on the examination papers. That made me feel very excited.

In my opinion, this system was really good in order to produce a quality student for future. I could see some of my friends having problems in communication skill and low self-esteem. Maybe these were the best ways in order to solve their problems. However, it did not mean that I was really good for those things as I was still in the process to improve myself to become a better person than before. The most important was to give a chance and time to change. As the proverb goes, WHEN THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY. ha....ha...ha... Always think positive!!!
